Lunar wine was a type of wine that was consumable by humans.[1] In 40 BBY,[2] Lord Regent Rael Averross drank some of the alcoholic beverage while having dinner in the royal palace of the Inner Rim planet Pijal, hoping its intoxicating effects would blunt the harshness of his conversation with Czerka Sector Supervisor Meritt Col. The wine shared its name with the term "lunar," which was used to denote subjects pertaining to moons.[1]
