Lynwen Brennan CBE is the President and General Manager of Lucasfilm business.[2] Raised in Tenby in Wales,[1] Brennan worked for ten years in visual effects software development at various companies, including Parallax Software, Avid Technology, and Alias Wavefront before joining Lucasfilm's visual effects company, Industrial Light & Magic (ILM), in 1999. Brennan became ILM's president in 2009,[2] overseeing its expansion from northern California in the United States to studios in Singapore, Vancouver, London, Sydney, and Mumbai.[1] She was promoted to Executive Vice President of Lucasfilm as its General Manager for all of the company's divisions in 2015. In 2016, she was made a Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire by Queen Elizabeth II for her services to the United Kingdom's visual effects industry.[2]
