Lady M'Arshngton was a female who,[1] approximately four years before the Battle of Yavin,[2] was imprisoned along with many others by the Galactic Empire.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
The name "Lady M'Arshngton" first appeared in "Rebel Resolve," the twelfth episode of the first season of Star Wars Rebels; written in Aurebesh in a prisoner data file. The designation "TK-1138" next to her name[1] brings to mind TK-421, an Imperial stormtrooper from Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope.[3] References to the number 1138 are scattered throughout the Star Wars films[4] (and other Lucasfilm productions),[5] and other Star Wars titles; honoring George Lucas' first feature film, THX 1138.[4]
