The M-s3 concussion missile launcher, also known as the M-s3 concussion missile and warhead launcher,[2] was a model of concussion missile launcher manufactured by Sienar Fleet Systems.[1] The TIE/sa tactical bomber manufactured by Sienar for the Galactic Empire was equipped with two forward-mounted M-s3s,[3] with the bomber's missile port located at the base of the vehicle's central body beneath its sensor array and between the cockpit pod and ordnance pod.[2]
Each bomber was capable of carrying sixteen concussion missiles, with the option to replace the M-s3s with T-s5 proton torpedo launchers depending on the mission profile for the craft.[1] When engaging other craft, TIE/sas were most effective when using missile volleys to make up for their lack of maneuverability, blasting apart foes before they could close in.[3]
