Description[]

The M3-A Scyk Interceptor,[1]—also known as M3-A Interceptor, "Scyk" fighter,[3] and M3-A "Scyk" Interceptor[4]—was the lightest ship created by MandalMotors.[1]

Behind the scenes[]

The M3-A Scyk interceptor was first mentioned in the current Star Wars canon as an "M3-A Interceptor" in "Bargains, Bribes, and Battles," an article on Fantasy Flight Games' official website previewing a then-upcoming expansion—C-ROC Cruiser Expansion Pack—for the Star Wars: X-Wing Miniatures Game miniatures game on January 9, 2017.[5] It was later identified as a "Scyk" fighter in "Hit and Run," another Fantasy Flight Games article previewing the C-ROC Cruiser Expansion Pack that was published on March 10.[3] Then, on March 27, a third preview article titled "Jabba the Hutt" was published and identified the starship as a the M3-A "Scyk" Interceptor.[4] The expansion later released on June 8 of that year.[6]
