ML-08, also referred to as Mel, was a maintenance droid that served aboard the smuggler Jaxxon T. Tumperakki's starship the WUD-500 star yacht Rabbit's Foot. Mel was considered to be "the worst maintenance droid" ever by Jaxxon.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
ML-08 greatly resembles[1] the T3-series utility droid seen in the Legends video game Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic.[3] He was named after Mel Blanc,[4] who was the voice actor for cartoon character Bugs Bunny, to whom Jaxxon was created as a homage to.[5]
