The MPO-1400 Purgill-class star cruiser, also known as the MPO-1400 Star Cruiser the Chandrilan Class I starship, or simply an MPO cruiser was a class of Star Cruiser in service from the High Republic Era to the New Republic Era, manufactured by the Corellian Engineering Corporation. One Star Cruiser was the Halcyon, which was operated by Chandrila Star Line. It was roughly twice as large as a CR90 corvette, and it had thirteen engines that were arranged in the unique Drabor Configuration.
Behind the scenes
The MPO-1400 Star Cruiser Halcyon is the setting for the Walt Disney Star Wars–themed luxury hotel located in Florida. Although the ship is named after the purrgil, a species of spacefaring creatures, the name was misspelled in the novel The High Republic: Midnight Horizon.

- Halcyon Legacy 1 establishes that the Halcyon was built 275 years before the First Order-Resistance War, which was instigated due to the Hosnian Cataclysm. According to Star Wars: Galactic Atlas, the Starkiller Incident is dated to 34 ABY. Thus, simple arithmetic shows that the Halcyon was built approximately in 241 BBY.
