—MW-59 and Chaka Mater Laka

MW-59 was a musician who performed in the musical track "Batuu Boogie" with fellow artist Chaka Mater Laka.[1] "Batuu Boogie" was one of the tracks used by the droid DJ R-3X in Oga's Cantina, located in Black Spire Outpost on the planet Batuu in the Outer Rim,[2] around the year 34 ABY.[3] The local radio station, BSO 401.72, broadcast the cantina playlist, which could be heard in the refreshers near Mubo's Droid Depot, inside the Black Spire Station garage, inside the market at Merchant Row, and inside Docking Bay 5 at the local spaceport.[4]

MW-59's track "Batuu Boogie" first appeared in the themed land Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge,[5] which opened to guests at Disneyland Park on May 31, 2019.[6] Though created for the Oga's Cantina bar, the track is also included in the background audio for the restrooms near Droid Depot, Black Spire Station, the market, and in the stand-by queue for the attraction Millennium Falcon: Smuggler's Run.[5] The in-universe artists behind the track were not revealed, however, until the release of the digital album Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge Oga's Cantina: R3X's Playlist #1[1] on September 6, 2019.[7]
