The Machinists of Nikato were a faction around the Third Alsakan Conflict in 14,300 BBY. They defeated the Duros Red Credit Brigade and established the Nikato's Bootheel on the planet Raxus Prime in the Tion Cluster. They constructed a network of elaborate clockwork mechanisms around the ancient Tionese structures and helped developed the planet into a manufacturing center within the galaxy.
