"Main Title and The Attack on the Jakku Village" is a musical theme composed by John Williams for the 2015 film Star Wars: Episode VII The Force Awakens.[1] The theme, which includes the Star Wars Main Title, plays over the beginning of the film, including the opening crawl and the events of the attack on Tuanul.[3] It contains the first introduction of the leitmotif that represents Kylo Ren,[1] the film's central villain,[3] which reoccurs throughout the soundtrack, including "Kylo Ren Arrives at the Battle."[1]
