Malangsha was a sentient species that were native to the planet Langsha-Raang. Varish was a member of the species.[2]

Malangsha, albeit unidentified, first appeared in "The Growing Green Danger," the first part of the tenth episode of the first season of the Disney+ and Disney Junior animated series Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures,[1] which aired on August 2, 2023.[4] The species later got identified in the 2024 Dorling Kindersley reference book Star Wars Encyclopedia: The Comprehensive Guide to the Star Wars Galaxy, which was authored by Dan Brooks, Megan Crouse, Amy Richau, Amy Ratcliffe, Brandon Wainerdi, Dan Zehr, and Kelly Knox.[2] The species was designed by Betsy Bauer.[3][5]
