The man-o'-war body armor was a type of armor developed by the Iskalonians. It contained two blunt horns at the top of the head which housed various sensors and wireless devices, as well as a golden visor to cover the eyes of the wearer. In addition, the armor was sturdy enough to survive the detonation of a grenade with little damage, and could deflect blaster shots. It was considered extremely rare by the time of 5 BBY.
The Pantoran Kosh Kurp managed to acquire a crimson-colored set during the two decades he spent hunting down Sonopo Bomoor as well as studying various weapons on his quest for vengeance against the latter for killing off his entire family during the Massacre of Bonaka Nueno on his homeworld of Intuci.
