The Manaan Special Warfare Group (MSWG) was a defense force group on the planet Manaan.[1]

The MSWG was a specialized force group created to defend Manaan territory from hostile incursions. Using unconventional tactics, advanced equipment to boost their natural abilities, and innovative weapon technology, the MSWG commandos proved essential in protecting Manaan's citizens and resources. Their motto translates into Basic as: "For sea and spirit."[3]
History[]
The MSWG was founded by Wen Gallo, Lak Talsa, and Ji Shuul after the Battle of Gwaria Trench where Gallo's company suffered significant losses to kolto raiders.[2][3]
During the Sith Empire's invasion around 3625 BBY,[4] the MSWG joined forces with the Galactic Republic to prevent the theft of kolto by the resurgent Sith Empire.[1]
