Along with Concordia, the terrestrial planet Mandalore had a second moon which orbited around it.
Description[]
Mandalore's second moon was one of two satellites that orbited the homeworld of the Mandalorian people.[1] Located within the Outer Rim Territories, more specifically within Mandalore space, the second moon would orbit Mandalore just as the latter would orbit around the system's sun.[1] It could not always be seen on the planet's surface, though.[2]
Behind the scenes[]
Mandalore's second moon was first mentioned in The Essential Atlas, a galactic reference book authored by Jason Fry and Daniel Wallace. Published August 18, 2009, it was the first source to state Mandalore was orbited by two moons.[1] However unlike Mandalore's second moon, Concordia would go on to be explored in Star Wars: The Clone Wars television series' episode "The Mandalore Plot."[3]
