The Mandalorian secret covert^[2] was a covert established by the Children of the Watch on a barren terrestrial planet within a cave system that was near a body of water, after maintaining a Mandalorian covert on the Glavis Ringworld. The covert consisted of many Mandalorian warriors, including the Heavy Infantry Mandalorian Paz Vizsla, and children. They were led by "The Armorer." During the recital of vows of the Mandalorian Creed by Ragnar, the covert was attacked by a large reptilian creature. Originally facing difficulty in defeating the beast, the covert was saved by Din Djarin in his modified N-1 starfighter.^[1]

Following an Imperial remnant attack on Lady Bo-Katan Kryze's castle on Kalevala, Djarin and Kryze retreated to the covert. There, Djarin presented the covert with proof that Mandalore, its mines and the Living Waters had survived the purge. Djarin and Kryze were welcomed into the covert.^[3]

The New Republic pilot Captain Carson Teva came to the covert that the he call the Mandalorians for help that the Pirate Nation led by the Pirate King Gorian Shard took over the city of Nevarro. In response, the Mandalorians returned to Nevarro and defeated the pirates, earning land on the planet in the process.^[4]
