"March of the Resistance" is the musical track and theme, composed by John Williams, that represents the Resistance in the 2015 film Star Wars: Episode VII The Force Awakens.[1] It first plays in the film when Poe Dameron and Resistance forces arrive on Takodana to fight the First Order at Takodana Castle.[3] The motif is continued in "Han and Leia" and "Scherzo for X-Wings."[1]

In Star Wars: Episode VIII The Last Jedi the theme is used again and is played in such tracks as "Main Title and Escape", "The Supremacy", "Fun with Finn and Rose", "The Battle of Crait" and "Finale".

In Solo: A Star Wars Story the theme is briefly used in such tracks as "Savareen Stand-Off" (in first edition) and "Enfys' Stand-Off (6M35)" (in deluxe edition). It is plays as Enfys Nest told a story about rebelion on Savareen against Crimson Dawn.

In Star Wars: Episode IX The Rise of Skywalker the theme is played in such tracks as "The Old Death Star", "They Will Come", "Approaching the Throne" (in official commercial release edition) and in "Falcon Flight", "In the Desert", "Hallway Shooting" (in Academy Awards consideration edition). "The Rise of Skywalker" and "Farewell" tracks also uses first notes of "March of the Resistance" as part of victory motif.

In The Mandalorian Season Two episode "Chapter 10: The Passenger," the melody plays as the New Republic ships take off after saving Din Djarin from a horde of knobby white ice spiders. During "Chapter 12: The Siege," a different arrangement of the theme is played during the conversation between Carson Teva and Carasynthia Dune. These versions of the theme were arranged by Ludwig Göransson.

In The Mandalorian Season Three episode "Chapter 19: The Convert", the melody plays when Dr. Pershing is being shown Coruscant. This version was arranged by Joseph Shirley.
