A common long-range bulk transport, the Mark I possessed two decks[1] and a dorsal laser cannon turret,[2] though due to the ship's lack of shields it was often considered an easy target for pirates.[2]
Common throughout the galaxy,[3] though especially among civilized regions, the craft was sold second-hand at a high resale price.[3]
Able to be modified, the Mark I could be made battle worthy through reinforcement of the ship's already robust hull, with shield generators and additional laser cannons having little impact on the ships overall performance.[1]
One such vessel was the heavily modified Cygnante, used by The Shield.[1]
