- "Exar Kun, because of you, the Sith will never die. You have earned the right to bear the mark of Dark Lord of the Sith."
- ―Marka Ragnos, appointing Exar Kun as Dark Lord
The mark of Dark Lord of the Sith[4] was a Sith tattoo[1] worn on a forehead of a Dark Lord of the Sith.[4] The mark was worn by multiple Dark Lords, including Naga Sadow[2] and Exar Kun.[3] In 3997 BBY,[5] the spirit of a Dark Lord of the Sith Marka Ragnos branded Kun with the mark of a Dark Lord and Ulic Qel-Droma with that of a Shadow Hand.[6]
