Martz was a captain in the Republic Navy during the Clone Wars. They commanded the Acclamator-class assault ship Prosecutor, which was commandeered by Trandoshan mercenaries roughly one year into the war. They were presumed dead, most likely killed by the Trandoshan forces.[1]

Martz was mentioned in the 2005 video game Star Wars: Republic Commando. In the French and German versions of Star Wars: Republic Commando, Martz is instead referred to as "Stinnet."[1] In The Complete Star Wars Encyclopedia, Martz in identified as "Stinnett."[2]
