Mary Holland is an American actress and comedian who is known for her work with the Upright Citizens Brigade and her roles in Parks and Recreation, Comedy Bang! Bang!, Blunt Talk[2], and Veep.[4] She performs the voice of the droid AD-3 in the children's game show Star Wars: Jedi Temple Challenge.[3]

BiographyEdit

Mary Best described herself as a Star Wars fan who was obsessed with The Empire Strikes Back. During an interview with Lucasfilm employee Kristin Baver, Best is also a fan of R2-D2 and C-3PO, regarding the droid characters as beloved by the fans and characters. She said that the two droids "represented a certain innocence and a kind of untainted experience of the galaxy", adding that they were "one of those beloved, innocent friends that people relate to across generations and across the years."[4]
