During the onset of the Clone Wars, while en route to Kashyyyk, Master Mavra Zane and a group of padawans started practicing lightsaber combat aboard their ship with Zane using her lightsaber to demonstrate.[1]

Upon arrival at Kashyyyk, Zane and her padawans found themselves in a conflict with an alliance of Trandoshans and Separatists. Zane wielded her lightsaber into battle against them.[1]
