Mekith was a[1] tiny[4] terrestrial planet in the Prakith system,[1] located in Sector 5[2] of the Deep Core. It occupied the second orbital position around the star Prak and had a moon. Mekith featured a rocky surface and a toxic environment.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
Mekith was first mentioned in "Byss and the Deep Core, Part 3: Prakith," the third entry in the Planet Hoppers Byss and the Deep Core article series, written by Rodney Thompson and published on Wizards of the Coast's website on April 21, 2005.[1] The planet's first appearance was in Darth Bane: Dynasty of Evil, the final novel of the Star Wars: Darth Bane Trilogy written by Drew Karpyshyn,[4] which was published on December 8, 2009.[5] The reference book The Essential Atlas,[3] published on August 18, 2009,[6] placed the Prakith system, and therefore Mekith, in grid square K-10.[3]
