Mendel Baudo was a reclusive Aqualish who owned a shipwright company along with small shipyards that produced the Baudo-class star yacht during the height of the New Order. Known as an eccentric and a perfectionist, Baudo had each yacht custom-built to its owner's specifications, and only accepted orders from customers who had been referred to him by previous customers.[1]
