I always loved paying attention to the storylines, dialogue, underlying plots, themes, and moods. And I used to imagine how I would have done the story differently. I never realized that could translate into writing book tie-ins for children’s television and toys so well, but it does!"

Meredith Rusu is a children's book author and editor who specializes in books based on television and movies, including Star Wars.[1] She wrote the Star Wars Rebels tie-in books Ezra's Wookiee Rescue,[2] The Inquisitor's Trap,[3] and Always Bet on Chopper.[4] She has written children's short stories adapting Star Wars films and comics for the anthologies The Original Trilogy Stories,[5] The Prequel Trilogy Stories,[6] 5-Minute Star Wars Stories Strike Back,[7] and Galactic Adventures Storybook Collection.[8] Rusu is also the author of Star Wars Galaxy of Adventures, a junior novel based on the Star Wars Galaxy of Adventures animated series.[9]
