Michael McMaster is a prop builder, and a member of the R2 Builders Club since 2001.

Star Wars-relate workEdit

At the behest of Star Wars Rebels executive producer Dave Filoni, McMaster constructed a fully articulated, life-size model of the astromech droid character Chopper to promote the animated series. McMaster's final product was built in about eighty-seven days. Chopper would also make appearances on "Rebels Recon" on StarWars.com, and made a brief cameo appearance in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.

McMaster also built CH-33Z, a mouse droid for The Star Wars Show, and R3-A3 for "Science and Star Wars". Michael continues to do work for Lucasfilm, and most recently worked on the touring Millennium Falcon Experience, which promoted the film Solo: A Star Wars Story.

McMaster also built and operated the astromech droid LX-R5, who appeared in the game show Jedi Temple Challenge.[1].
