Michelle Ang is a New Zealander actor[1] who voiced the unaltered clone Omega in the 2021 Disney+ animated series Star Wars: The Bad Batch.[3] She is also known for playing Tai-San in the New Zealand science fiction drama series The Tribe, Lori Lee in the Australian soap opera Neighbours,[4] and Alex in the horror drama series Fear the Walking Dead.[1]
Biography[]
Before landing the role of Omega, Ang had auditioned for a part in the 2017 live-action movie Star Wars: Episode VIII The Last Jedi, but she didn't get it. When she auditioned for Omega, she was unaware it was connected to the Star Wars universe. However, Omega's character, characterized by innocence, naivety, and a strong moral compass, immediately resonated with her.[2]
