Mickelnuts were a type of nut that was served roasted as a festive favorite during the Solstice Tide festival.[1] In around 232 BBY,[2] Jedi Master Stellan Gios enjoyed the sweet aroma of roasting mickelnuts while walking down Republic Avenue on the planet Coruscant, where vendor droids were cooking the nuts on every corner and serving them in pressboard cones. After Gios chased the thief Nittel Karkson into Coruscant's lower levels, he found that the smell of mickelnuts and curried nuna-rolls was replaced with engine oil and despair.[1]
