Mid-Galactic Standard was a dialect of Galactic Basic Standard in use during the lifetime of the holoplaywright Peshosloc, over fifteen thousand years before the Battle of Yavin. Peshosloc wrote his holoplay Xim at Vontor in Mid-Galactic Standard, though the version presented in Ronton's Anthology to Galactic Literature, Vol. 2 had been modernized for contemporary Basic speakers.
