The Ministry of Protection, also known as the Protection Ministry,[2] or as the Nihil military,[3] was an organization established by the Eye of the Nihil Marchion Ro. It was led by the Minister of Protection, a Mirialan called Abediah Viess, who had a century's worth of experience as a mercenary general.[1] According to the rules of the Protection Ministry, the right to claim ownership of a lightsaber went to whoever delivered the fatal blow to its previous owner, unless Viess or Ro took the weapon for themselves.[4]
