In 228 BBY,^[2] Jedi Master Savina Besatrix Malagán of the Jedi Order, the ZZ-model droid ZZ-10, and the Banchiian Shosho undertook a mission to the moon Astenban to prevent the Nihil pirates from taking control of a base there. On Astenban, the group encountered the Force-sensitive creature Zimtok, who decided to assist the group. Malagán successfully destroyed the base, but while fighting the Nihil afterword, Zimtok was captured by a Nihil and Shosho stowed away on a Nihil starship to attempt to save her.^[1]
