In 9 BBY,[5] during the Great Jedi Purge, Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi went on a mission to the planet Daiyu at the request of Bail Organa to rescue Leia Organa, who had been kidnapped by the Third Sister as a means of drawing Kenobi out of hiding.[4]
