The Mission to Delaya was an assignment entrusted to Princess Leia Organa to recruit Alderaanian refugees to the Alliance. As her official cover, she was to help the refugees and pay tribute to the ones who perished in the Destruction of Alderaan.

She was accompanied by Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Chewbacca, Tobin Elad, and their droid companions, R2-D2 and C-3PO.
