Shortly after their mission to Kijimi, Poe Dameron, Rey, and Finn undertook a mission to Kef Bir, the ocean moon of Endor, to locate one of the Sith wayfinders belonging to Darth Sidious that was located in the ruins of the DS-2 Death Star. After crash landing the Millennium Falcon, the Resistance agents met with Jannah and her tribe. After locating the wayfinder, Rey and Supreme Leader Kylo Ren fought in a lightsaber duel.[1]

Behind the scenes

The Mission to Kef Bir first appeared in the 2019 film Star Wars: Episode IX The Rise of Skywalker, the third and final installment of the Star Wars sequel trilogy.[1]

The scenes of the mission were filmed on England in November 2019. According to Daisy Ridley, the lightsaber fight between Rey and Kylo Ren were physically the most challenging to do for her as in contrast to other lightsaber duels from the trilogy, they were doused with water cannons the whole time, aside that it was very cold as well due the climatic change.[3]
