Before the Liberation of Lothal[2] but during the Galactic Civil War, the former clone trooper Wildfire, now a member of the Alliance to Restore the Republic, was assigned to a mission to retrieve valuable intelligence from[1] Joopa Base[2] on the planet Seelos.[1] Joopa Base was an All Terrain Armored Transport commandeered from the Galactic Empire[3] by Wildire's former commanding officer, Wolffe,[1] along with his companions Rex and Gregor, during the Assault on Seelos.[3]
The mission began when a rebel shuttle, carrying at least Wildfire, landed atop an Imperial All Terrain Armored Transport, which Wildfire entered through its top escape hatch. Inside, he confronted an entire contingent of troopers. The ensuing battle saw conflict between rebel-captured AT-ATs and Imperial AT-ATs, ending with the capture or destruction of all deployed Imperial walkers. After the last Imperial walker exploded, Wolffe sent their stolen intelligence over an encrypted channel to the rebels.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
Tyrants of Lothal includes two endings for the mission to Seelos event for a rebel victory and defeat. In the defeat scenario, the player watches as Wolffe and Gregor's AT-AT is destroyed.[1] However, the AT-AT appears functional in the Star Wars Rebels episode "A Fool's Hope," which began the liberation of Lothal event[2] that removed the Imperial presence from the planet Lothal.[4] As Tyrants of Lothal is set before the liberation,[1] the defeat cannot be the canonical outcome.
