In 232 BBY, Jedi Grand Master Yoda took a mission to the moon Vrant Tarnum alongside Elders of the Path Elder Tromak. The two hoped to retrieve a piece of an artifact part of a set from the Kharvashark Ruins on the moon before Marchion Ro, the leader of the Nihil marauders, could retrieve it. However, their ship crashed on the moon after a protective droid array in orbit attacked, allowing Ro to retrieve the artifact and hurting Yoda's foot in the process. The only one left at the crash site, Yoda, sent out a distress signal. The signal was answered by pilot Nash Durango and Jedi Initiates Kai Brightstar, Lys Solay, and Nubs, who rescued Yoda from the moon.
