The mission to Yout 12 was a mission undertaken by KRONOS-327 on Yout 12 during the Clone Wars.

The mission

"After all these years, my most trusted of assassins has finally failed."

During the Clone Wars, in 22 BBY, Ziro the Hutt sent the assassin droid KRONOS-327 on a mission to Yout 12 in order to eliminate a rival Black Sun Vigo.

However, the IG-86 sentinel droid botched the mission on the twelfth moon of the planet Yout, in the Qiilura sector of the Mid Rim.

"O Ziro the Hutt, Master of the Hutt Clan on seven systems, I am sorry, Your Highness. It will not happen again."

KRONOS-327 reports his failure to Ziro the Hutt

Eventually, KRONOS-327 returned to Ziro's Palace on Coruscant to report his failure, believing that he could complete the mission if given another chance.

However, Ziro the Hutt decided that KRONOS-327 was no longer useful and activated a secret control that neutralized the droid's weapons. The crime lord then ordered that the droid be dismantled and used for spare parts.

The mission to Yout 12 was first mentioned in the 2008 reference book Star Wars: The Clone Wars: The Visual Guide, just prior to the release of the film Star Wars: The Clone Wars.
