Modon Kira was the King of Onderon during the Galactic Civil War. He resided in Kira Fortress and was the husband of Lady Kira.^[1]

He helped Luke Skywalker, Han Solo and Empatojayos Brand attack Imperial stormtroopers and Emperor Palpatine's Imperial Shuttle.^[1]
