- "I don't have much information regarding the Mokk stronghold [sic] other than the fact that the Mokk are a Dantari tribe. The stronghold can be found on Dantooine around the northwestern edge of the planet. The Rebels have been known to interact with these primitives, and we believe this is where they may have planned Dr. Bledsoe's abduction."
- ―Colonel Darkstone, to a spacer
The Mokk Stronghold was a fortified Dantari settlement located in the Mosa Rishin region of the planet Dantooine during the Galactic Civil War.[1] The tribal leader of the Mokk and many other members of the tribe resided in.[3]
History[]
- "All I need to know is if some Dantari are using it. I've heard a tribe named the Mokk Dantari are using it, but I need to make sure."
- ―Daiv Dekven, to a spacer

Two Mokk warriors at the stronghold
During the Galactic Civil War, the Rebel Alliance interacted with the Mokk several times, presumably also including having access to the stronghold.[2] In 1 ABY,[5] the Galactic Empire suspected the Mokk Stronghold to be the location where the Rebels made their plans to abduct Doctor Bledsoe, an Imperial scientist. These details were the reason why it acted as one of three possible locations of a prison transfer log that Colonel Darkstone dispatched an Imperial unit to retrieve a prison transfer log in an attempt to rescue the doctor, the others being the Palace of the Woolamander on Yavin 4 and the Droid Engineer cave on Lok.[2]
The same year, the Rebel scout Daiv Dekven tasked a spacer with exploring the stronghold.[4] Later, a spacer visited the stronghold and collected an eventide smasher.[6]

- ↑ The opening crawl of Star Wars Galaxies: An Empire Divided dates the game to after the events of Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope, and additionally, Serji-X Arrogantus, who died in Star Wars (1977) 10—the events of which The New Essential Chronology dates to 0 ABY—appears in the game. Therefore, at least a portion of Star Wars Galaxies must be set in that year. Furthermore, in the game Ruwan Tokai references the destruction of the Death Star as having occurred one year earlier, and Strongholds of Resistance also places the events of Galaxies' Chapter 9: "The Fury of Exar Kun" in 1 ABY. Lastly, while Chapter 11: "The Battle of Echo Base" features the Battle of Hoth—dated to 3 ABY by The New Essential Chronology—the developers have stated that the portrayal of that battle in the game is intentionally anachronistic. Therefore, the events of Star Wars Galaxies must span from 0 ABY to around 1 ABY.
