Moloch's staff[2] was a scepter carried by Moloch, a male Grindalid enforcer of the White Worms gang. Its head depicted writhing scrumrats.[3]

In The Art of Solo: A Star Wars Story, prop master Jamie Wilkinson revealed that the hellscapes of the English Romantic painters William Blake and John Martin inspired the writhing sculptural scrumrat figures atop Moloch's staff.[4]
