Moroff was a male Gigoran mercenary who was active during the Age of the Empire. During that time, Moroff sought out combat zones to sell his brawn and firepower to anyone who required it. Moroff believed there was money to be made for a heavy gunner.[1] In 0 BBY, Moroff was a member of the Partisans,[3] an extremist rebel cell lead by Saw Gerrera. In his time as a Partisan, Moroff participiated in the Jedha insurgency[4] and wore a voice-translator box on his mouth.[2]
Behind the scenes
Moroff first appeared in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story and was portrayed by Welsh actor, stuntman, and ex-basketball star Ian Whyte, in the film.
