A Trandoshan police officer patrols the streets of Mos Eisley.
The Mos Eisley Police Authority was the local law enforcement agency in Mos Eisley, Tatooine. Their force was armed with blasters and had a station in the spaceport to enable the questioning of suspects. The officers patrolled the city and also operated in space above Tatooine.
In 0 BBY the police force was tasked to bring in the unknown pilot that ran an Imperial blockade in effect around the planet.
Among their number were guard Happer, pilot Captain Wordkal, an unidentified cop. Around the time of the Battle of Yavin, Lieutenant Harburik served as Chief of Police.
