Mos Elrey was a settlement within the small inhabited portion of the desert planet Tatooine's northern hemisphere.[1] It was located on the eastern edge of the Western Dune Sea near the south western edge of the Jundland Wastes. The settlement of Mos Espa stood 108 kilometers (67.5 miles) to the north of Mos Elrey, while the distance to the settlement of Mos Eisley from Mos Elrey was 129.6 kilometers (81 miles) to the east.[2]

Mos Elrey was first mentioned in the 2016 reference book Star Wars: Complete Locations, where it was newly added as one of several modifications to maps[2] that had originally been created for the 2000 reference book Inside the Worlds of Star Wars: Episode I[3] and the 2005 Star Wars Legends reference book Inside the Worlds of Star Wars Trilogy[4]
