Muffins were a type of small, beige food. They could be cooked in an oven.[2] A muffin variant called Muja muffins made from Muja fruit originated on the planet Gala. They were favored by the Daan faction.[3] The restaurant Dex's Diner served "Hungry Hutt" breakfast sandwiches made with another variant of muffins, pedunkee mufkins,[4] prior to its destruction during the first two years of the Galactic Empire's reign.[5] Muffins were often made from the fruit of a marble-berry plant.[1]
In 27 BBY, Jedi Knight Alicka was known for her blumfruit muffins.[6]
In 3 ABY, Noa Briqualon made some muffins in his Endor hut, which were enjoyed by Cindel Towani, Teek and Wicket Wystri Warrick.[2]
