A multiscreen was a device used by the theocratic government of the Kilji religious species, the Kilji Illumine. It was used to display recordings on its multiple screens. One model of the device was present at a meeting room on the Kilji war cruiser Whetstone[1] in 18 BBY.[2]

During the same year,[2] the owner of the cruiser and leader of the Illumine, Generalirius Nakirre used the multiscreen in the center of a table to showcase recordings. Nakirre's ally, the Grysk operative Jixtus which guided the Illumine's conquests against several nations, used the multiscreen's controller to activate the screens. Following their activation, several recordings of Chiss patrol ships and a Chiss light cruiser attacking a freighter far away from a planetary mass to Chiss Captain Roscu were displayed in an attempt to drive her Chiss family, the Clarr family, into buying the recordings.[1]

Behind the scenes[]

The multiscreen appeared in the 2021 novel Thrawn Ascendancy: Lesser Evil, the last volume in Star Wars: The Ascendancy Trilogy by author Timothy Zahn.[1]
