Mur Lafferty is an American author and podcaster. She wrote the novelization of Solo: A Star Wars Story and has written two short stories for Star Wars: "The Voice of the Empire," which appeared in Star Wars Insider 170 and was a tie-in to Catalyst: A Rogue One Novel by James Luceno,[1] and "Not for Nothing," which was a part of the anthology From a Certain Point of View, celebrating the 40th anniversary of Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope and focused on the band Figrin D'an and the Modal Nodes.[2]
