Muunilinst was a planet[4] located in the galaxy's Outer Rim Territories[1] that was home to a division of the InterGalactic Banking Clan.[3] It was the site of the Battle of Muunilinst during the Clone Wars, where the Galactic Republic took the planet.[4]

Muunilinst was first mentioned in Star Wars canon in the Databank entry for Clu Lesser on StarWars.com.[5] Muunilinst first appeared in Specter of the Past, a Star Wars Legends novel written by Timothy Zahn as the first entry in Star Wars: The Hand of Thrawn Duology[6] that was released on November 3, 1997.[7]
