Nace was a Sith Acolyte[1] of the resurgent Sith Empire[2] who trained on the academy world of Odacer-Faustin in 3645 BBY. Nace studied lightsaber technique under Sith Blademaster Shak'Weth, and was considered proficient in the art by fellow student Wim Nickter. When Rance Lussk, one of the most talented acolytes in attendance at the academy, decided to issue a challenge to one of his classmates, Nickter believed that Nace was a possible choice, as the two duelists had comparable skill. Ultimately, Lussk chose Nickter, and Nace watched with the rest of his dueling group as Rance brutally and easily defeated Nickter.[1]

Powers and abilities[edit | edit source]

Nace was a capable lightsaber duelist, in a league of talent that also included fellow Sith-in-training Jura Ostrogoth, Scopique, Rance Lussk, and Mnah Ra'at.[1]

Behind the scenes[edit | edit source]

Nace's first and only appearance in Star Wars canon to date was the 2010 horror novel Red Harvest. Written by Joe Schreiber, Red Harvest makes mention of Nace during Wim Nickter's internal dialogue, but contains no indication of the character's sex or species.[1]

Notes and references[edit | edit source]

  1. 1.0 1.1 1.2 1.3 1.4 1.5 Red Harvest
  2. 2.0 2.1 Although Red Harvest makes no specific references to the Sith Empire of the post–Great Hyperspace War era, this government is the only Sith organization in operation during 3645 BBY, the year in which Red Harvest takes place. References throughout the book show that Darth Scabrous's academy is part of this larger group.
