"He's a very dangerous one, well-known in the Underworld."
―Jedi Master Tera Sinube[2]

Nack Movers was a male Trandoshan assassin who worked as a hitman on Coruscant during the Clone Wars. He shared an apartment with his girlfriend Ione Marcy and hired Cassilyda Cryar as his bodyguard. Movers purchased Jedi Padawan Ahsoka Tano's stolen lightsaber from the thief Bannamu. However, he was murdered with Sennari poison by Marcy, and her girlfriend, Cryar, who then took the lightsaber for themselves.

Biography[]

Nack Movers was a male Trandoshan assassin who lived on the planet Coruscant during the Clone Wars and worked as a hit man for the criminal underworld. Attempts by the police officers in the Coruscant Security Force to link Movers to his crimes were thwarted by bribes and intimidation, as documented by police Inspector Tanivos Exantor Divo. Divo's files noted that Movers appeared to have been trained by the Malkite poisoners, as poison was his weapon of choice.[1]

Movers had a skyrise apartment on the upper east side of the Jrade District, where he lived with his girlfriend, Ione Marcy. He also hired a bodyguard, Cassilyda Cryar, due to his growing paranoia. However, he failed to notice how close Cryar and Marcy grew to each other, and that they began plotting against him when Marcy unsuccessfully entreated him not to make lecherous propositions to Cryar.[1] At some point, he purchased from the thief Bannamu the lightsaber belonging to Jedi Padawan Ahsoka Tano, and returned to his apartment.[2] There, he was murdered by his girlfriend, Marcy, and her girlfriend, Cryar, who poisoned his drink with the same Sennari he would use to poison his victims.[1]

RussoISCMoversReport-ScumAndVillainy

Russo wrote a crime scene report on Movers' murder, which was later filed by Exantor Divo.

Cryar and Marcy took Tano's weapon with them, but they were discovered by Padawan Tano and Jedi Master Tera Sinube. After a chase across Coruscant's cityscape, Marcy and Cryar were stopped by the Jedi and taken into custody by the Coruscant Police.[2]

Legacy[]

Soon after Marcy and Cryar's arrest, the crime scene analysis droid Russo-ISC joined the investigation, analyzing Movers's blood sample. Russo reported the Trandoshan's ID number was COR143817TRND195441.37, he was 1.75 meters tall and weighed 104 kilograms. Russo also detected that Movers's had been poisoned with the same Sennari drink that he used to poison his victims, with 11.3 of the Sennari extract appearing in his blood. Meanwhile, Russo's blood sample analysis revealed the rest of the substances in Movers's blood were non-contaminants. These were a potassium level of 5.2, his sodium level was 155, his urea level was 6.4, his creatinine and glucose levels were 130, while he had also had a copper level of 33 Cu.[1]

All of Russo's analysis results were subsequently noted in the file police Inspector Tanivos Divo compiled on the case.[1] Divo's grandson, New Republic police Commissioner Exantor Divo of Hosnian Prime later catalogued the case in his set of security files he wrote in 34 ABY[3] called Scum and Villainy: Case Files on the Galaxy's Most Notorious.[1]

Personality and traits[]

Nack Movers was a male Trandoshan assassin, who was 1.75 meters tall and weighed 104 kilograms. He had gold eyes,[1] and green skin. He was a Malkite assassin, using Sennari poison to kill his victims. Movers had a romantic partnership with the Salenga Ione Marcy,[2] but failed to notice that Marcy had begun a second romantic relationship with his bodyguard Cassilyda Cryar until it was too late. His failure to detect Marcy and Cryar's relationship led to Cryar murdering him with his own method of assassinations, as Cryar and Marcy poisoned Movers with the same Sennari extract Movers was known to use on his victims.[1]

Equipment[]

Movers was armed with Sennari extract.[1] He also briefly owned at least one lightsaber, as he purchased Ahsoka Tano's lightsaber from Bannamu.[2]

Behind the scenes[]

Nack Movers first appeared in the episode "Lightsaber Lost" of Star Wars: The Clone Wars TV series, although only as a corpse. Movers' design and model were based on that of the Trandoshan scavenger Gha Nachkt, a character from the first season.[4]
