The Namadii Corridor was a hyperspace route that ran from the planet Coruscant in the Interior and Core Worlds region of the galaxy to the astronomical object Namadii in the Mid Rim Territories. It passed through the Colonies, Inner Rim, and Expansion Region on its route with junctions onto various other routes including the Corellian Run and the Perlemian Trade Route.

Description[]

The Namadii Corridor was a hyperspace route that had one terminus at the galactic capital Coruscant in the Coruscant system of the Corusca sector's Coruscant subsector in the Core Worlds[1] and the Interior regions of the galaxy.[3] From there, it connected to the astronomical objects Pantolomin and Borleias[2] of the Borleias system,[5] both also in the Core Worlds, and then astronomical object Palanhi in the Colonies.[2]

Next, the route entered the Inner Rim and passed through the astronomical objects Marquinn,[2] the gas giant[13] Pheryon, and[2] the world[14] Bilbringi. After entering the Expansion Region, it linked to[2] the Kel Dor homeworld[15] Dorin and then finally it entered the Mid Rim Territories and passed through[2] the Nautolan homeworld[16] Glee Anselm[2] in the Jalor sector's[4] Jalor system,[6] then[2] the planet[17] Ansion, and finally reached its other terminus at the astronomical object Namadii. On the Standard Galactic Grid, Namadii Corridor passed through squares K-10, K-9, K-8, J-8, J-7, I-7, and I-6.[2]

Coruscant acted as a junction from the Namadii Corridor onto the Corellian Run,[1] Metellos Trade Route,[8] Perlemian Trade Route,[1] Stassia Alley,[10] and the Koros Trunk Line, which was part of the larger Nexus Route.[9] A route also passed from Coruscant out to the Core Worlds[2] planet Chandrila, with another route then looping back from Chandrila to meet the Namadii Corridor at Pantolomin. Palanhi served as a junction between the Corridor and[2] the Shwuy Exchange,[11] Dorin as a junction on to[2] the Celanon Spur, and Ansion onto a route that eventually led to the[2] world Benath.[2]

Behind the scenes[]

In the current Star Wars canon, the Namadii Corridor was first pictured in the eighteenth issue of the Star Wars: Build the Millennium Falcon magazine,[18] published around May 6, 2015.[19] It was first identified in Collapse of the Republic, a 2019 Star Wars Roleplaying supplement published by Fantasy Flight Games.[1]

The Namadii Corridor originated in the Star Wars Legends continuity, where it first appeared in the 2000 novel The New Jedi Order: Agents of Chaos I: Hero's Trial, which was written by James Luceno.[20] It was then depicted for the first time in The Essential Atlas, a 2009 reference book written by Daniel Wallace and Jason Fry.[21]
