Nazy

Nazy was a human member of the Maya Pei Brigade during the Imperial Era. He was part of a group that were stranded on the moon Yavin 4 in 4 BBY following an attack on the brigade.

Biography[]

By 4 BBY, Nazy had joined the Maya Pei Brigade to fight against the Galactic Empire. In 4 BBY, the brigade was attacked and Nazy was apart of a group of at least sixteen members of the brigade that survived the attack and escaped aboard a starship that landed on Yavin 4. However one member of the group subsequently departed in the ship leaving Nazy and the rest of the group stranded on the moon. The brigade members later encountered an individual named Porko that they found near a clearing with a damaged Breon HOY-39. A conflict arose which resulted in the death of Porko.^[1]

Two days after being stranded on the moon Cassian Andor, an associate of Porko, landed near the group in a stolen TIE Avenger. As Andor approached the HOY-39 he called out for Porko only to have the Maya Pei group announced their presence and take Andor prisoner. Nazy watched as two members of the group Gerdis and Bardi took turns trying to interrogate Andor. However the interrogation was interrupted when Rika, another member of the group, found the Imperial pilot helmet in the TIE and proclaimed that Andor was an imperial test pilot. Later that day, Nazy and two other members, Neek and Flek were assigned to guard Andor while Rika tried to learn to fly the TIE. A short conversation between the guards and Andor was interrupted and the three guards took cover when Rika pressed a button causing the TIE's laser cannons to fire in to the jungle near the group.^[1]

That night, an argument between the group erupted when discussing who should be in charge ultimately coming to a head when Crab shot Rika with his blaster and Rowd responded by shooting Crab. The brigade members exchange fire between each other while splitting into two factions; with Nazy siding with Bardi, Musk, Rowd, Tick, Neek and Flu and regrouping at the TIE while the other group retreated to the crashed HOY-39.^[1] After it began to rain later that night, Nazy crawled through the rain towards where Rika was shot to check if she was still alive. At the same time Snee, member of the other faction, was crawling through the rain looking for Crab's body. As Nazy proclaimed that he could not find Rika's body, Snee found a part of Crab's leg. Freaking out, Snee ran back towards the HOY-39 while firing at the TIE group. Nazy fired over his shoulder while firing backwards before tripping and landing in the mud. When he made it back to the TIE he told the group he could only find Rika's goggles.^[3]

The following morning the Rowd a member of the group cut open a fowl smelling Yavin 4 melon. Nazy stood bace while the group were discussing whether to eat the it before Bardi eventually mustered up the courage and takes a bite. Later in day the group began trying to use rope to rotate the TIE so that its weapons would point towards the other group. When other group found out about the move they opened fire at the TIE forcing the Nazy's group to suspend their attempts. That night Gerdis decided to issue a challenge to Bardi to settle the dispute. The two groups cross towards each other before all dropping their weapons in unison. Nazy held a torch as they watched the two leaders engage in a game of Five Hands with Roski rules. While the group watched the game, Andor took the oppoescaped his captured and made his way to the TIE before he could get there a Yavinian doodar came out of the jungle and scooped Bardi and Gerdis in it's mouth. The rest of the group, including Nazy scrambled for their guns and began to shoot wildly into the jungle. When the group realized that Andor had made it to the TIE and was taking off the group began shooting at the TIE but were unable to stop it from leaving.^[3]

Personality and traits[]

Nazy had tan skin, brown eyes and brown hair.^[1]

Equipment[]

While stranded on Yavin 4 Nazy carried a blaster pistol and wore a long long grey and yellow jacket, brown pants, a brown belt and a brown hat. When it was raining on Yavin Nazy utilized the hood of his jacket to block the rain.^[1]

Nazy was portrayed by Dylan Blore in the second season of the live-action series Star Wars: Andor, first appearing in the series's first and second episodes, "One Year Later" and "Sagrona Teema," which were both released on Disney+^[1] on April 22, 2025.^[4]
